Data & Storage Policy

This Data & Storage Policy explains how NITA CARE LLC uses local storage, session data, analytics, and third-party SDKs in the Nita mobile application. This policy supplements our Privacy Policy.

1. Mobile App Storage

AsyncStorage (On-Device Local Storage)

We use React Native AsyncStorage to store non-sensitive preferences and cache data on your device. This data never leaves your device unless explicitly synced. Current uses include cached wellness tips, UI preferences, and encrypted session tokens.

Secure Storage

Authentication tokens are stored using platform-level secure storage (iOS Keychain, Android Keystore), not plain AsyncStorage.

3. Analytics and Crash Reporting

We may use limited analytics to understand App usage and fix bugs. Analytics data is aggregated, does not identify you individually, and does not include the contents of your wellness logs or AI conversations.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Active account data is retained while your account is active. After account deletion, a 30-day grace period applies, then data is permanently deleted. To clear local cache, uninstall and reinstall the App.

6. Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. For EU/EEA users, we rely on standard contractual clauses or other appropriate safeguards as required by GDPR.
